Where are we?

Tablao Flamenco Casa Ana is located in the heart of Granada, right next to Plaza Nueva, where passers-by coming and going from the Paseo de los Tristes, the Alhambra, the Cathedral or Calle Elvira converge.

At the foot of the Albaicín, Cárcel Alta street connects Plaza Nueva with this picturesque neighborhood of Muslim origin, registered as a World Heritage Site since 1994.

The Albaicín neighborhood, with its irregular alleys, is full of hidden squares and viewpoints such as the famous Mirador de San Nicolás or Mirador de Carvajales. One of its main streets is known as Calle de las Teterías, whose real name is Calle Calderería Nueva, since, in its origin, boilers were manufactured and repaired there. Here we can find numerous spice stores, tea shops and restaurants that take us completely to an atmosphere similar to that of Marrakech.

This street leads to the Placeta de San Gregorio, presided over by the Church of San Gregorio which, in Renaissance and Baroque styles, is located just 20 meters from our Tablao Flamenco. In it there is a cloistered convent whose nuns take turns to pray in the main chapel constantly. A good time to visit this church is at noon, when they sing the Angelus all together.

To learn more about the magical neighborhood of the Albaicin, it is highly recommended to do so with a guided tour where, apart from history, you can learn about the legends that surround this neighborhood.

In front of the Casa Ana tablao stands the majestic building of the Royal Chancery, current seat of the High Court of Justice of Andalusia. It was commissioned by Charles V, although its construction was completed during the reign of his son, Philip II. This building has always had a link with the legal field, in addition to its use as a prison and as a place where sentences were executed to the condemned. This gives the Royal Chancery a certain halo of mystery for those who want to know the mysterious Granada.

How to get to Tablao Flamenco Casa Ana by public transportation?

By bus, on lines 21, 33 and 4 with the stop at Gran Vía 7. Afterwards, continue on foot for about 3 minutes.

Hands down one of the best flamenco shows I've been to. There's a bar along the side to enjoy a glass of wine or beer before the show starts. The venue is small, so most seats have a good view. We had the pleasure of meeting the stars of the show, they were such incredible people.

A unique place in the center of Granada. A flamenco tablao with an impeccable decoration and image and above all, exquisite artists. In addition, you can drink some wines right there. 100% recommended for flamenco lovers visiting Granada.
